Emma has been working with glass as a leadlight artist since 2003, and her love of strong colour and the flowing line show in her work. She utilises not only the colour and texture of the glass, but also incorporates copper foil into her designs to enhance the play of the line work.
In 2012 Emma joined a lapidary club where she learned the art of silversmithing, and quickly progressed from student to instructor. She adores the malleability of fine metals, and three dimensional formwork is her favourite to create.
Her silverwork is very organic, and botanical specimens feature heavily in her pieces with her love of flowers, leaves, and seed pods featuring predominantly.
