Marianne Halpin

Painter, Printmaker

Marianne Halpin creates her artwork in a serene rainforest studio, where she skillfully employs acrylics and oils, enhancing her pieces with gesso and various media to introduce captivating textures.

Art has woven itself into the fabric of Marianne’s life since her childhood, allowing her to explore and master a diverse range of materials including charcoal, ink, pencil, crayons, as well as oils and acrylic paints, each chosen to bring her visions to life.

Her artistic approach is characterised by a keen use of contrasting colors that vibrantly “sing” alongside each other, creating striking visual harmonies. Currently, Marianne is focusing her talents on life drawing, participating in weekly sessions at Creative Arts to hone her skills and explore the human form.
